Governors

The Local Advisory Committee of Ravenscote has one main aim – to raise standards. Governance plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the school and challenging the school leaders to make sure every child 'excels'.

Parent representatives on the Local Advisory Committee (LAC) are a doubly important part of our school and home partnership. Not only are they directly aware of the results of school policy on our children and are easily accessible to you the parents, but they can bring a variety of skills needed in the present day governing of schools.

Our Governing body is made up of 11 Governors.

We meet regularly twice a term to ensure we meet the requirements of the Academy Trust.

If you feel that you would like to help our school by becoming a Governor do please get in touch with the Headteacher, who can tell you what is involved.
